Great Weekend

I had a great long weekend.

I did the juice fast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was fun just throwing things into the juicer and see how they came out (although I think most of them would have been better with Patron!!). I lost 6 pounds so that is even better.

I did start eating on Monday but I'm hoping the fast really changed my outlook on food. I really need more fruits and vegs and water in my diet.

So far today I've had juice (1/2 cantaloupe, 1 cucumber, 2 carrots, 1 banana and some strawberries) for breakfast and a salad with tomatoes, boiled egg and tuna with balsamic vinegar and green grapes for lunch. So I'm doing good with my fruit/veg intake I think! And it's only 3pm and I've already had 60oz of water (which is my goal for the day).

I did hit the treadmill after the kiddos went to bed last night and did the first day of Couch to 5k which felt great. But 30 minutes only counts as 1.75 miles to San Fran so it might take me awhile. I did buy these cool new running shoes at Payless over the weekend.



They are super flexible and only weigh like 9oz! The will be great for Zumba too - which I'm hoping to get to next week.

So my week has been great so far - I know I can keep on track this time!!
